WELCOME TO AISMA

This Association (AISMA), registered under Indian Trade Union Act, 1926 (Regd. No: NDD/09) is the only specialized organized representative body of the Station Masters / Station Managers of Indian Railways.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

  1. To form an independent and free union based on the principles of democratic trade unionism, secular in character and nationalistic in outlook;
  2. To make the Station Masters conscious of their rights and duties by organising and consolidating them under the Association;
  3. To promote, protect, improve and safeguard the rights, interests, status and privileges of the Station Masters, irrespective of their caste, creed, race, language; and religion by all legitimate trade union methods and constitutional means;
  4. To regulate relations and to establish mutual understanding between the Station Masters and the Railway Administration; and. to settle issues through negotiations, conciliation or arbitration;
  5. To improve the efficiency and standard of railway service; 6. To support legislative measures for the protection of members; and to oppose the same, when it is against their interests;
  6. To provide funds for compensation to its members for the loss arising out of trade union activities conducted with the concurrence of the Association;
  7. To organise and establish separate funds for the benefit of members and / or their dependents in case of sickness, accidents, non-employment, death, etc. and for any other purpose, as may be decided by the Association;
  8. To co-operate, amalgamate, or to federate with; to affiliate or be affiliated to, any other union or society having kindred aims and objects;
  9. To secure and safeguard for its members: I. freedom of association, ii. freedom of assembly,

 iii. freedom of expression, iv. right to work and, v. right of representation;

  1. To raise special funds, if and when necessary, for any, or all of the objects stated above, or for any legitimate objects considered conducive to the growth and expansion of the Association; or to provide legal assistance to the members in matters arising out of, or incidental to their employment/trade union activity and; 12. To publish literature, journals, bulletins, etc. for the benefit of members.
  2. To organise social service & charitable activities for the benefit of the deserved.
